Terms of Sale

2026-07-29

These terms govern the booking service operated by MarrakechLocal LLC across badi-palace.com and the monument sites in its network. They explain exactly what you are buying, what you are not, and what happens if something goes wrong.

1. Who you are contracting with

The booking service on this site and on every site in our network is operated by MarrakechLocal LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (the "Company", "we", "us").

Whichever site in the network you booked on, your contract is with MarrakechLocal LLC. That is the entity named on your invoice and on your card statement. Support is provided by the same team at [email protected].

We are an independent private company. We are not a public authority, not a monument administration, not a ticket office, and not a national or regional tourist board. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by, or acting under any authority from the Moroccan Ministry of Culture or any monument management. Nothing on our sites should be read as suggesting otherwise.

2. What you are buying

You are engaging us to perform two things on your behalf:

  • A concierge purchase: we obtain official entry tickets for the monument and the number of visitors you select, buying them from the official ticketing channel on your instruction. The tickets are open-dated bearer codes — they carry no name and no date, and admit whoever presents them.
  • A digital audio guide: a recorded, multilingual guide to that monument, delivered as digital content you play on your own device.

3. What you are not buying

To avoid any misunderstanding, our service does not include:

  • A human guide or a guided tour. The audio guide is a recording, not a person.
  • Transport to or from the monument.
  • Priority or skip-the-line entry where the monument itself does not operate a priority entrance. Where a monument has only one queue, holding a ticket means you do not queue at the ticket window — it does not mean you bypass the entry line.
  • Any guarantee of admission where entry is refused for reasons within your control, including arriving on the wrong date, arriving outside opening hours, or being refused entry by monument staff for conduct or dress.
  • Any right or licence granted by the monument or by any public authority.

4. Price and transparency

All prices are shown in euros, are inclusive of all taxes and fees, and are the total you will be charged. There are no additional charges added at checkout.

Our price is higher than the official gate price. We display the official price alongside ours on every booking page, together with a link to the official ministry portal at https://www.tickets-monuments.ma/, so that you can compare the two and buy directly instead if you prefer. The difference covers obtaining the ticket on your behalf, the digital audio guide, multilingual support, and the free cancellation window described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Official gate prices are set by third parties and change without notice to us. We check them regularly, but where the official price shown on our site differs from the price currently charged at the monument, the monument's price is the accurate one and our display is an error rather than an offer.

5. How the contract is formed

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email containing your booking reference. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because the monument is closed on your chosen date, tickets are unavailable, or the request appears fraudulent — we will tell you and refund you in full.

You do not have to agree that we are independent of the monument — we tell you. That statement appears on the checkout page, directly above the payment form, before you enter any card details, and it is recorded with your order.

Before you can pay, you must tick a box at checkout confirming both of the following: that you agree we begin performing on delivery of your QR code, that our service is complete at that moment, and that you therefore lose the 14-day right to cancel in respect of both the concierge purchase and the digital audio guide; and that you accept these Terms and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. The wording about the cancellation right is written out in full next to the box, not hidden behind a link.

We record the exact wording you were shown, in your language, together with the time you accepted it. We do this so that both of us can later establish what was actually agreed.

6. Delivery

After payment we obtain your ticket and send you one delivery containing everything: the QR code, the link to your digital audio guide and your support number, by email and, where you have given us a number, by WhatsApp. Nothing is sent separately or later.

Delivery of the QR code is the point at which our service is performed. It is also the point at which your right to cancel ends — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

It is your responsibility to give us a working email address and to check your spam folder. If you have not received your QR code 48 hours before your visit, contact us immediately at [email protected] or by WhatsApp on +212 607-223008; we will resend it.

7. Your visit

Each code admits one visitor to the monument you booked. The codes are open-dated: you may use them on the day you told us, or on another day. Entry is subject to the monument's own rules, opening hours and capacity, over which we have no control.

Monuments in Morocco occasionally close at short notice for restoration, religious observance, official visits or weather. Because your code is open-dated, a closure on the day you planned is usually solved by going another day. Where that does not work for you — you are leaving Morocco, or the closure runs past your stay — contact us and we will refund you in full. This is the one circumstance in which a delivered booking is refunded, because in that case the service could not be used through no fault of yours.

8. The audio guide

The audio guide is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use in connection with your visit. You may not redistribute, resell, publish or publicly perform it.

It plays in a standard web browser and requires a working internet connection at the point of loading. It is not a substitute for a licensed local guide and does not grant any access rights.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for performing the service described in these terms with reasonable care and skill. Where we fail to do so, we are liable for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure.

Our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking, except where the law does not allow such a limit. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of the monument or its staff, for closures or access restrictions imposed by the monument or by any public authority, or for travel costs, accommodation or other expenses you incur in connection with a visit.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something has gone wrong, contact us first at [email protected] with your booking reference. We aim to respond within 24 hours and to resolve complaints within 14 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response and you are resident in the EU, you may be able to use your national alternative dispute resolution body. We will tell you which one applies to your case if you ask.

Please raise a problem with us before contacting your bank. A chargeback filed without contacting us first is slower for you than a refund, and where we can show that the service was delivered as described we will contest it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the version in force on the date you placed it, and we retain each version. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
